Worktable Wednesday 11-18-2015
Hey, look what day it is already! Is it REALLY Wednesday?
What's on my worktable today? Well, BEADS OF COURSE! Lots and lots of beads to be exact. As if there would be anything else ever?
I know you are all excited to hear and see what kind of beads I have, but you will just have to wait until Friday. Yes, I am making you wait for Friday's update for the big reveal. Don't pout. It's only a couple days away!
I do have these lovely bird beads to share with you though. They are always a hit. Even if you've seen them a hundred thousand times already, they never get old. Aren't they just darling? They go with a woodland Christmas theme as well as Autumn jewelry! Yes, I do currently have them in stock, if you haven't already, head on over to my Etsy shop and pick up a set... or two!
So if, I'm not showing you any cool new beads today, what am I showing you? What am I even writing this blog post about? Is there anything else to talk about?
Yes, actually there is. There are a bunch of things to talk about. There are CHANGES coming very soon, and I don't just mean changes in the weather (snow? Do I even dare say the word?)
First, there are some new bead sets coming out in the next week or so. Before the big Black Friday / Small Business Saturday / Cyber Monday, Thanksgiving Holiday shopping extravaganza. There will be a big Ol' blog post on those when the time comes, so keep an eye out.
Next, I have been exploring new photo backgrounds. Yes, we all love WHITE crisp clear photo backgrounds, but I want to change it up a bit. So, there will be a blog post about that too. I'm really excited to share that with you this week. You have probablly already seen some of my raku beads with new backgrounds, so you know what I'm talking about. If not, head on over to my Etsy Shop to get a peek.
If this is a bead blog, what do I have to review? Well... I've been thinking about this for awhile and I really want to show you all what I like to use when I am beading. Materials from other hand made sellers. Maybe some suggestions to get you motivated.
It's coming! You are probablly wondering why I never share any photos of my workshop.... other than maybe a close up of my table? It's because I absolutely hate my new workshop. But, that is about to change too. I've already got a start on the building process. You can follow along by search for the Workshop Remodel tag on the sidebar. It will be fun, at least for me! Maybe it will give you some new ideas for your messy workshop!
Finally, last but not least the BALC class. WHAT IS A BALC? BALC, stands for Build a Line Challenge. This is a challenge class taught by Brenda Sue Lansdowne of B'Sue Boutiques. You don't have to worry about this until after the holidays, but it's coming too, and yes... there will be a blog post about that very shortly... and a blog hop too!
That's about it for this Wednesday! Lots of packages to get ready for tomorrow's shipments (The holiday season is upon us people!) and lots of beads to sort to get prepped for Friday's update. Are you ready?
